Creating a healthier world one person at a time, Eat Better Live Better, a nonprofit founded by Debra Tendrich, had an original mission to teach kids how to eat a more healthy lifestyle. Debra lost 70 lbs and healed her daughter’s medical problems through better food choices. When the pandemic hit, many were without work and needed assistance with getting food. Eat Better Live Better now provides much needed grocery assistance to those suddenly faced with a food crisis such as fixed income seniors, single mothers, or families where at least one parent has lost his or her job. What is unique about Eat Better Live Better? It provides healthier food choices that include fresh produce.
