Host Bio: Allison Turner owns both BatCat Media Group and Dream Plan Start Grow, which is a subsidiary of BatCat. She loves working with entrepreneurs through business coaching and marketing to make their vision and business shine. One of her true passions is working with new business owners and those looking to start a business on bringing their vision and brand to life. She loves exploring the entrepreneurial journey with each of her guests to educate new business owners and potential business owners on the journey of entrepreneurship.
Guest Bio: As TEDx speaker, 3-time Distinguished Toastmaster, Author and Master Photographer, CeCe Espeut gets to live out her dreams and her passions of traveling the world and meet fascinating people. Her background, however, includes a criminal conviction for drug conspiracy (1997-1999) which takes some explaining.
In 2012 she was granted clemency by then Florida Governor Rick Scott, and that changed her business forever. She went from being a photographer to Speaker – Author – Photographer. Many people had questions about the clemency process and how they could get their criminal records sealed, expunged or pardoned, so in addition to doing photography, she sat down and wrote a book called, The Florida Clemency Guide (2017).
Her experience with Toastmasters International allows her to consult with and speak to companies on how they could be more socially consciousness by giving 2nd chances to formerly incarcerated individuals, and her passion for photography allows her to do her first love, photographing weddings. Today she gets to help others. And that is her true life passion.
